This Salter Baby Scale is an instrument used to weigh babies and small children in nutrition and feeding programs. Designed as a sling, the child is undressed and placed upright in the trouser, which is suspended from a hook on the bottom of the scale. The trouser can be interchanged with a hammock so babies and sick children can be weighed while lying down.
