Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive candidate to support our organization's partnership efforts in Singapore. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing and adapting proposals, donor briefs, and supporting materials, coordinate internal stakeholder communication, facilitate event support, and contribute to donor due diligence processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about advancing our mission and developing skills in fundraising and donor relations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand the Singapore philanthropy landscape and actively engage in networking activities to broaden MSF’s supporter base and identifying and converting potential corporate and foundation leads into donors.
- Produce high quality communications materials, from PowerPoint presentations to cover letters, proposals, funding application forms etc that raise interest in the philanthropy sector in Singapore.
- Coordinate information flow between internal teams, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed and aligned.
- Conduct initial due diligence on prospective donors and funding opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, proposals, and related documentation and assist in tracking submission deadlines and follow-up activities.
- Support planning and logistical arrangements for fundraising events and activities like Mapathons and Peer sharing sessions.
- Engage in relevant working groups in the MSF movement for exchange and acquisition of knowledge as deemed appropriate by the direct supervisor.
- Provide support to the Fundraising team in other ad-hoc marketing, donor service and administrative duties as needed.
The Ideal Candidate
- University graduate.
- Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in corporate relations, marketing or fundraising.
- Evidence of strong interest in humanitarian affairs and a commitment to the aims and values of Médecins Sans Frontières.
- Strong customer service skills and a proactive personality.
- Excellent command of English and solid presentation skills, crafting social media posts. Video editing and creative design skills will be a bonus.
- Proven experience in execution of KYC, due diligence processes and events planning is a plus.
- Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, be able to multi-task, and be willing to assist with tasks outside direct job description.
- Be willing to occasionally work during weekends or special events.
- Local citizenship and permanent residency are essential
