MSF needs Medical Doctor with specialization in Internal Medicine or Infectious Diseases. There are several different types of MSF project in where there are needs for MD with TB and HIV/AIDS specialization for example.
Roles of the Medical Doctor :
- Provide clinical and organisational support for medical activities in various contexts, including hospitals, mobile clinics, and refugee camps.
- Set up and coordinate medical services tailored to the needs of the project, ensuring quality and continuity of care.
- Train, supervise, and mentor health personnel to build local capacity and ensure adherence to medical protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including logistics and supply chain, to support effective healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- Licensed Medical Doctor
- Experience in tropical and infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS , TB/MDRTB, emergency room, mass casualty, Sexual and Reproductive health, ICU, hepatitis, drug usage or victims of torture is an asset.
- Diploma in tropical medicine is an asset
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Team work and people management experience, and able to coach and train other team members.
- Availability 6 - 12 months for each assignment.
