MSF needs Medical Doctor with specialization in Internal Medicine or Infectious Diseases. There are several different types of MSF project in where there are needs for MD with TB and HIV/AIDS specialization for example.


Role of the Medical Doctor :

The responsibilities will vary according to the type of the project:

  • Clinical and organizational support for medical activities, e.g. in hospital setting and refugee camps.
  • In addition, the setup, coordination, training and supervision of health personnel represent a significant part of a general physician's work.

 

Requirements

  • Licensed Medical Doctor
  • Experience in tropical and infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS , TB/MDRTB, emergency room, mass casualty, Sexual and Reproductive health, ICU, hepatitis, drug usage or victims of torture is an asset.
  • Diploma in tropical medicine is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Team work and people management experience, and able to coach and train other team members.
  • Availability 6 - 12 months for each assignment.
  • Adhere to our Behavioral Commitments and MSF Charter
